Municipal Service Partnerships

Increasing pressure on Local Councils to provide services and to restrict costs could lead to the establishment of Municipal Service Partnerships, thereby offering a number of existing employees as well as currently unemployed community members an opportunity to develop labour based service provision.

It may be argued that this simply changes the name of the person being employed but figures indicate that substantially more people could be employed for a similar budget by making less use of costly, heavy equipment.
